Video Tutorial: Tips for Brush Lettering, Part One

Today I'm sharing some tips for brush lettering using gouache. In case you missed it, check out this post on prepping gouache for use in brush lettering or calligraphy. Once your gouache is prepped, you only need a few supplies and you'll be ready to start brush lettering! Find a complete list of the supplies I use below.

Supplies

1. Winsor & Newton Cotman Brush, Series 111 Round, Size 1 - Available from Winsor & Newton, Blick, or Amazon.

2. Canson XL Mix Media Pad (I prefer size 7x10") - Available from Michael's, Blick, or Amazon. 

3. Cup of water.

4. Paper towel or rag.
